Potential updraft height

Potential updraft height calculated from smoothed scanning radiometer potential temperature. A constant temperature perturbation of 0.3K is added to the first level. The potential updraft height is the height where this perturbed parcel has zero buoyancy.

First column is the Day of Year, while the second column is potential updraft height.

Use with caution.
